Testimonials
“I love coming to the garden club, I feel so relaxed and happy when I work with the plants.” – Diana, Rosemead High School Senior
“Me encanta la naturaleza, es muy importante ver cómo sembrar semillas. Invitaron a la gente en la comunidad a cultivar sus propias comidas, como una terapia.” [“I love nature, it is very important to see how to sow seeds. They invited people in the community to grow their own food, as a therapy.”] – Lucia Nunez and Gloria Leva, La Madera Community Garden
“We installed a low-water raised bed garden because it’s fun to grow one’s own vegetables. Our youngest daughter is in charge of it; having a garden has brought soul and joy to our home.” – Kelli Bean-Miranda, home schooler in Los Angeles, CA
